The team brings designs from concept phase through initial production builds, detailing concepts along the way to choose the best path to meet operational performance targets, at cost and with high reliability. Form Energy is hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design key subassemblies for our next generation of iron-air batteries!. As part of our Advanced Product Development team, you will conceive, design and release complex electromechanical subassemblies at the core of Form’s energy storage systems. Your design work will span a broad range of engineering disciplines, including heat transfer, fluid dynamics and mechanics. You will back up theoretical designs with thorough verification plans and hands-on testing, exploring nuanced trades between cost and efficiency. You’ll collaborate with a large cross-functional team to bring assembly CAD from concept to release to mass manufacturing.
