<p>We are excited to add a Head of Talent to our team of 30! Reporting to the Founders, the Head of Talent&nbsp;will play a critical role in supporting the growth and development of Elephant Energy by identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet our organizational goals. <h2><strong>About The Role</strong></h2>
<p>We are excited to be hiring a Head of Operations! Reporting to our cofounder Josh, the Head of Operations will be responsible for delivering projects at scale. This role is more tactical than strategic in nature and due to the occasional onsite nature of the position, we are looking for someone based in Colorado &ndash; though open to remote. Other responsibilities include and are not limited to:</p>
<ul>
<li>Own the entire Project Delivery platform: the project management team, the customer journey (post contract execution), supply chain (equipment), vetted installer-partner network</li>
<li>Define what success looks like for the Project Delivery pillars; develop metrics to monitor and iterate as needed if we are not meeting the definition of success</li>
<li>Own and improve our Project Delivery roadmap: work directly with homeowners, installer-partners, and internal teams to understand challenges in order to perpetuate internal continuous improvement&nbsp;</li>
<li>Partner closely with management to develop and execute on corporate strategy objectives</li>
<li>Actively perpetuate an inclusive, equitable, collaborative working environment in which psychological safety comes first</li>
</ul>
<h2><strong>About You</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>5+ years operations experience (offline, physical infrastructure projects) and 2+ years experience managing a project management team</li>
<li>You have a robust project delivery toolkit honed by experience: KPI-driven project management frameworks and tools, Total Cost of Ownership perspective, continuous improvement strategies, communication methodologies</li>
<li>You have a broad range of interpersonal, spoken, and written communications skills and leverage your versatility to build relationships across all stakeholders</li>
<li>You have a genuine affinity for collaboration and bringing out the best in people;&nbsp;</li>
<li>You are committed to setting and meeting realistic timelines, while managing ambiguity and competing priorities</li>
<li>You&rsquo;re passionate about combating climate change via home comfort and clean, energy-efficient technology</li>
</ul>
<h2><strong>Nice to Have, Though Not Required</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>Experience working in residential construction and managing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc trades.</li>
<li>Experience directly managing installer-partners and helping them improve their businesses and project delivery capabilities</li>
<li>Experience with residential electrification</li>
<li>Experience scaling project delivery capabilities by 10x or more</li>
</ul>
<h2><strong>Total Compensation</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>Annual base salary of 120k-150k, commensurate with experience and in line with internal compensation bands&nbsp;</li>
<li>Stock options, commensurate with experience and in line with internal equity bands</li>

<h2>About The Role</h2>
<p>Based on an ever increasing demand from customers for more comfortable homes, we are adding more Project Managers (PM) to successfully deliver home comfort and electrification projects. This PM role is based in Boston, MA. Responsibilities include and are not limited to:</p>
<ul>
<li>Oversee the successful delivery of home comfort and electrification projects &ndash; You are accountable for the entire project scope, the project team and resources, the project budget, and the success or failure of the project.</li>
<li>Lead planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing out projects.</li>
<li>Understand &amp; articulate project goals, develop reasonable project schedules, coordinate scheduling with contractor partners, manage homeowner expectations, and keep all stakeholders aligned and informed.</li>
<li>Develop and execute detailed processes and task lists; use best practices and tools to efficiently track, delegate, and ensure completion.</li>
<li>Monitor project risks and develop/implement mitigation strategies in real time.</li>
<li>Provide internal and external feedback to improve our ability to sell, scope, design, and execute projects; Improve our Project Playbook.</li>
<li>Identify opportunities to deliver an even better experience for all stakeholders &ndash; homeowners, contractor-partners, suppliers, etc.</li>
<li>Ensure our Project Management capabilities are world-class &ndash; effective, efficient, replicable, scalable, etc.</li>
<li>Help scale our Project Management team through hiring, training, and collaborating with other Project Managers.</li>
<li>Actively perpetuate an inclusive, equitable, collaborative working environment in which psychological safety comes first.</li>
</ul>
<h2>About You</h2>
<ul>
<li>3+ years experience managing projects in residential HVAC, Energy, or a related industry with demonstrated success.</li>
<li>A business generalist &ndash; capable of handling a wide range of situations and conversations, engaging with customers, negotiating with contractors, problem solving with suppliers, and developing and operationalizing processes.</li>
<li>You have a toolkit of project management skills and are passionate for continuous improvement in operations.</li>
<li>You&rsquo;re passionate about changing the world via home comfort and clean, energy-efficient technology.</li>
<li>You&rsquo;re a builder, a go-getter, a genuine self-starter; you get stuff done and promptly.</li>
<li>You&rsquo;re a fast learner who holds yourself to high expectations (and meets them).</li>
<li>You know a little about a lot &ndash; Energy, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Business, Finance, Operations, etc.</li>
<li>You adhere to realistic timelines and are an expert at managing competing priorities.</li>
<li>You appreciate the importance of giving and receiving thoughtful feedback.</li>
<li>You can deal with and manage significant levels of ambiguity, appropriate to our startup realities.</li>
