Responsibilities include:<ul style=""><li>Build robust Identity and Access Management posture</li><li>Ensure that our production platform in AWS has been hardened as per industry standards</li><li>Deploy and own Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) solution at SPAN</li><li>Own the vulnerability assessment and patch triage process to support ongoing vulnerability and patch management at SPAN and provide recommendations for identified vulnerabilities</li><li>Participate in the evaluation and selection of security tools and technologies </li></ul>About you<ul style=""><li>8+ years in a security engineering or operations role</li></ul><ul style=""><li>Experience with some of the authentication and authorization technologies such as OIDC, SAML, OAuth and AuthZ</li><li>Hands on experience with AWS Infrastructure Security</li><li>Kubernetes (AWS EKS) and container infrastructure </li><li>IAM and managing cloud identities at-scale </li><li>Secure development and application of IAC solutions (Terraform, Pulumi) </li><li>Cloud-native observability and management tools </li><li>Development experience in one of the languages: Python, Kotlin, Node or Rust</li><li>Understanding of web vulnerabilities is a plus </li></ul><h2>Life at SPAN</h2>Headquartered in San Francisco’s vibrant SoMa neighborhood, we are an eclectic group of creative thinkers who value open communication, teamwork, and a ‘make it happen’ approach to addressing complex challenges. SPAN embraces diversity and equal opportunity in a serious way.
