The Opportunity As a Vice President, you will be a leader in the evolution of our analytical solution and will leverage your talents to empower clients as they surmount some of the most critical challenges facing our industry and its investors today.  What You'll Do
<ul>
<li>Lead the development of our fundamental power market and price forecast for North America.</li>
<li>Leverage complex analytical models (including SCED models) to simulate power markets to forecast hourly power market prices.</li>
<li>Lead development of fundamental assumptions on a regular basis to guide the power market forecasts.</li>
<li>Participate in thought leadership activities to develop commercial insights of any market dynamics or regulation changes.</li>
<li>Interpret model results and implement data and logic changes to ensure realistic results that are calibrated to historical and forward prices. &nbsp;</li>
<li>Work closely with our clients to create customized solutions to support their commercial and strategic investment decisions.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Communicate commercial insight to our clients leveraging the results of the fundamental price forecast.</li>
<li>Participate in conference calls and meetings with clients and prospects, leveraging and demonstrating our solutions.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Lead the authorship of reports that outline a strategic and commercial narrative that is well supported by data and analytics rigor.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Mentor and lead junior employees from both a technical and client facing perspective.&nbsp;</li>

Who You Are
<ul>
<li>You have 5+ years of relevant work experience as a US power market analyst / modeler leveraging SCED models such as Encompass, Plexos, Aurora, Promod, or other dispatch/ models.</li>
<li>You have programming, database and software skills (VBA, Python, Excel, SQL).</li>
<li>You have a strong understanding of US regional power market design and fundamentals.</li>
<li>Expertise and comfort working with large datasets.</li>
<li>You have strong analytical abilities including statistical methods and optimization concepts.</li>
<li>You have experience or a demonstrable passion for renewables and storage project development or power markets.</li>
<li>You have the ability to work in a team setting with others from varying disciplines.</li>
<li>You have excellent writing and communication skills with an ability to articulate complex problems.</li>
<li>You have deep intellectual curiosity with a results-focused relentless pursuit of answers. Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment, embrace change and ambiguity.</li>

<li>Support analytics of transmission related data to provide insights to our clients, working closely with them to create customized solutions to identify opportunities and challenges from power transmission.</li>
<li>Support the market intelligence development on US transmission market and upcoming challenges and opportunities for clients looking for capital allocation in either generation or transmission assets.</li>
<li>Effectively communicate study findings to a wide audience of internal stakeholders.</li>

Who You Are
<ul>
<li>You have a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Electrical or Power Systems Engineering.</li>
<li>You have basic knowledge of transmission planning and transmission power flow analysis.</li>
<li>You have strong analytical ability including engineering methods.</li>
<li>You have excellent writing skills with an ability to explain complex problems.</li>
<li>You have experience or demonstrable passion in energy transition and power transmission.</li>
<li>You have knowledge of North American power markets and how transmission systems are operated, optimized, evaluated and developed by utilities and ISOs.</li>
<li>You have experience in power flow modeling and analysis using PSS/E, PSSMUST, TARA, PSLF, PowerWorld would be considered an asset.</li>
