Our technology has many applications including commercial, recreational, yacht tender, and defense markets.Job OverviewFlux Marine is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our Advanced Development Group that is responsible for early-stage new product development and prototyping. Your main responsibilities include software design for our traction inverter and related peripherals. You will collaborate with inverter hardware design, mechanical design and test engineers and have full visibility to the whole product development process. Roles &amp; Responsibilities<ul> <li>Traction inverter software design and implementation.</li> <li>CAN BUS communication with other system components.</li> <li>Understanding on vehicle software and network architectures.</li> <li>Ability to create software level tests to ensure code integrity.</li> <li>Work together with hardware design and testing teams for validation and certification.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>A BS degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field. You will work in a multi-disciplinary team of mechanical design, software and testing engineers and have full visibility to the whole product development cycle. Core responsibilities include hardware design for traction inverters, dc/dc converters and other power electronics for our high voltage outboard motors. Roles &amp; Responsibilities<ul><li>Traction inverter hardware design, schematic/layout, component selection and bill of materials generation.</li><li>Evaluating and sizing the IGBT power modules and matching to electric machines.</li><li>Collaborate with EMC team to assure regulatory compliance, functional safety with embedded software team.</li><li>Inverter problem debugging and failure analysis.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>A BS degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
