About the Role:
As an Engineer at Sesame Solar, you will be a critical part of the team that leads innovation, design, development, and implementation our 100% Renewably Powered Mobile Nanogrid Solutions. You will be responsible for energy system integration, maintaining engineering drawings, planning project deliverables and timelines.
Responsibilities:

<li>Possess a deep understanding of the relevant engineering design disciplines involved in Mobile Nanogrid development.</li>
<li>Stay up to date with the latest advancements in renewable energy technologies.</li>
<li>Collaborate with other teams to provide technical guidance during the Nanogrid design and manufacturing phase to ensure high quality is maintained throughout the process.</li>
<li>Identify and address technical challenges; seek quality in every part and efficiency in processes.</li>
<li>Hands on approach for system assemblies and supporting team with system integration.</li>
<li>Establishing and overseeing quality assurance processes.</li>
</ul>

Qualifications:

<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field, preferably with 2+ years of experience in a relevant engineering role. Master&rsquo;s degree preferred.</li>
<li>Strong technical skills and knowledge of the following but not limited to -</li>

Compensation Information:

<li>$60,000 - $70,000 per year depending on experience. Salaried position with no overtime pay.</li>
<li>Performance bonus up to 50% of salary.</li>
<li>No relocation package offered at this time.</li>

Travel:
Approx. 30% travel to support customers, partners, and events.

Engineer

Sesame Solar is looking for an experienced person to lead our production team. In this role, you&rsquo;ll have the opportunity to be a part of a company decarbonizing disaster response and off-grid power.
<h3>&zwj;Meet Sesame Solar:</h3>
Sesame Solar is producing what it deems the world&rsquo;s first fully-renewable Mobile Nanogrid for natural disaster response. While almost all standard responses to disasters use fossil fuel, Sesame Solar leverages solar energy, green hydrogen and battery storage creating a 100% off-grid. closed-loop energy system.
Depending on the model, our Nanogrids can produce between 5 &ndash; 20 kW of solar power, with a total battery storage of 15 &ndash; 200 kWh. They are engineered and pre-configured to meet peak and average use and provide uninterrupted, sustainable power. Our Mobile Nanogrids can be used as mobile emergency, communications and command centers, medical units, clean water generators, and provide backup power for buildings and remote communities.

<h3>Job Requirements:</h3>

<li>5+ years experiene in production and manufacturing management in the electric vehicles, electric motors, batteries, drone manufacturing, aerospace, wind energy, hydraulics or robotics industries, including managing production teams of &lt;50, and &gt;150.</li>
<li>Understanding of advanced manufacturing process flow and best manufacturing practices.</li>
<li>Experience with robotic welding, 3D printing is a plus.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Must be Quality focused. ISO Certification experience is a plus.</li>
<li>Background or studies in Engineering or equivalent.</li>
<li>Creative and innovative &nbsp;problem solving skills</li>
<li>Working in a hands-on, fast-paced, early stage company environment.</li>
<li>Must be located in Jackson, MI.</li>

Compensation:
