Primary Responsibilities:
Due Diligence:
<ul>
<li>Builds and maintains financial models for NuGen informed by in-depth, data driven research and analysis using industry standard inputs</li>
<li>Evaluates pipeline opportunities, organizes, and manages data and requirements with NuGen&rsquo;s due diligence system</li>
<li>Conducts information and competitive intelligence gathering on all aspects of NuGen&rsquo;s companies and project due diligence processes</li>
<li>Prepares client and partner proposals, writes internal and external memos, conducts research and analysis</li>
</ul>
Research:
<ul>
<li>Researches regulatory requirements, new markets, new technologies and the economic incentives across all NuGen Companies</li>
<li>Researches specific companies, projects and opportunities as directed</li>
<li>Researches the competitive landscape and new business models, summarizes work for distribution to NuGen leadership</li>
<li>Researches cross sell opportunities from NuGen&rsquo;s existing clients</li>
<li>Researches grants and incentives available in our key markets</li>
</ul>
Business Development:
<ul>
<li>Manages and executes on all aspects of RFP responses for solar, storage and EV projects in partnership with the organization</li>
<li>Writes applications for grants and incentives related to projects</li>
<li>Builds financial models in support of individual projects for solar, storage and EV projects or other projects as instructed by direction of a supervisor</li>
<li>Sends biweekly updates on grant opportunities to NuGen team</li>
<li>Supports all aspect of NuGen&rsquo;s business development activities, including opportunity sourcing, opportunities segmentation, screening criteria and prospect prioritization, due diligence, and internal onboarding</li>
<li>Participates in external meetings on behalf of NuGen, including but not limited to RFP interviews, presentation requests, permitting meetings, etc</li>
<li>Attends meetings and events at the direction of supervisor</li>
</ul>
Administrative and Marketing:
<ul>
<li>Oversees pipeline reporting, including updating and consolidating weekly pipeline information to NuGen management</li>
<li>Consolidates and summarizes all deal opportunities for NuGen</li>
<li>Consolidates, updates and reports all monthly financial deal information</li>
<li>Creates, maintains and is responsible for NuGen marketing materials including meeting presentations</li>
<li>Contributes to business development milestones and goals during annual and quarterly board meetings and advisory committee meetings</li>
<li>Supports website updates to keep content relevant</li>
<li>Develops a social media marketing plan and implements the plan</li>
</ul>

Required Skills

<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in business (accounting / finance), economics, , engineering or a program with an analytics-based curriculum</li>
<li>At least two years of full-time professional experience in a role related to analytics, banking or finance, or consulting,</li>
<li>Solid understanding of economic, financial, and general business concepts</li>
<li>Proficiency in data analytics and quantitative financial modeling</li>
<li>Excellent problem-solving skills and superior attention to detail</li>
<li>Understanding of, or the ability and desire to quickly learn concepts related to vehicle electrification and clean energy generation and storage</li>
<li>Excellent writing, communication, and strategic thinking skills</li>
<li>Ability to juggle numerous projects simultaneously with little oversight</li>
<li>Familiarity with economic development and clean energy market policies, programs, and incentives</li>
