Success in this role will come from building-long term customer relationships, understanding operational challenges, and positioning Xos as a trusted energy solutions partner. What You'll Do<ul><li>Build and execute sales strategies for the Xos AC Power Hub across commercial industrial, utility, fleet, construction, infrastructure, backup power, temporary power, and distributed energy markets.</li><li>Identify and research prospective customers through outbound prospecting, industry events, associations, referrals, trade publications, and creative lead generation strategies. </li><li>Conduct daily and weekly outbound calls,emails, and customer outreach activities focused on high-value opportunities and strategic account development.</li><li>Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through deal execution, deployment coordination, and ongoing customer relationship management.</li><li>Understand customer operational, energy, resiliency, and infrastructure needs and recommend solutions that address power availability, capacity constraints, operational continuity, and deployment flexibility. </li><li>Schedule and lead virtual meetings, product demonstrations, discovery calls, and onsite customer engagements.</li><li>Qualify (or disqualify) opportunities based on business needs, deployment timelines, technical requirements, infrastructure limitations, and budget.</li><li>Maintain detailed and organized sales activity within customer relationship management (CRM) system, HubSpot.</li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, service, and leadership teams to support successful customer deployments and gather product feedback.</li><li>Uncover customer objections and operational roadblocks and develop creative strategies to advance opportunities.</li><li>Participate in field sales activities, trade shows, customer demonstrations, pilot deployments, and industry events.</li><li>Travel approximately 25% as needed to support customer meetings, deployments, and strategic opportunities. </li></ul> Who You AreThis position could be a great fit if you enjoy:<ul><li>Selling innovative energy and infrastructure solutions.</li><li>Building new markets and identifying emerging customer applications.</li><li>Working with evolving technologies and products.</li><li>Developing strategic customer relationships.</li><li>Solving complex power, energy, and infrastructure challenges for customers.</li><li>Navigating emerging markets where customer use cases continue to evolve.</li><li>Contributing to sustainable and resilient energy solutions</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum 3 years of professional sales experience</li><li>Minimum 3 years of inside and/or outside sales experience with technical, industrial, infrastructure, energy, or equipment-based products/services </li><li>Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage in multiple stakeholders </li><li>Ability to work independently, while collaborating effectively across teams </li><li>Strong customer engagement and presentation skills both virtually and in person</li><li>Ability to manage a full sales cycle and prioritize opportunities effectively</li><li>Experience using CRM systems such as HubSpot or similar platforms</li><li>Comfortable operating in a fast paced startup or emerging product environment</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor's degree would be great, but industry experience is more relevant.</li><li>Experience in B2B sales within power generation, distributed energy, energy storage, utilities, temporary power, infrastructure, industrial equipment, fleet electrification, construction, or renewable energy sectors.</li><li>Experience selling to commercial fleets, utilities, contractors, municipalities, commercial and industrial customers, or infrastructure operators.</li><li>Experience supporting RFPs, government bids, or public sector opportunities.</li><li>Familiarity with temporary power, backup power, battery energy storage systems (BESS), microgrids, distributed energy resources, or mobile infrastructure solutions.</li><li>Experience conducting site assessments and evaluating customer operational requirements.</li><li>Experience with HubSpot CRM and/or Netsuite.</li><li>Knowledge of government incentives, energy funding programs, or infrastructure grants is a plus</li></ul>  The salary range for this role is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Xos Inc. reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
