The heat pump installation process is shockingly inefficient, meaning installers only spend a small fraction of their time actually installing heat pumps. Instead, they waste a huge amount of time:
- Dealing with customers that don't convert into jobs
- Having to do slow, manual data collection
- Filing paperwork.
This is having a massive impact: every heat pump market globally is severely supply-constrained by a shortage of skilled labour leading to long delays and poor customer experience.
Meanwhile existing heat pump installation businesses are suffering from low net margins and finding it hard to scale, and potential new installers are put off by the prospect of those low margins and a high admin burden.
This is holding back the transition away from fossil fuel heating, which is essential if we’re to hit net zero by 2050 (saving 20% of developed countries’ carbon emissions in the process).
We're building an operating system for heat pump installers, to fix their inefficient processes, boost profitability, and attract new installers to the market.
Our mission is ultimately to enable the entire ecosystem of home retrofit contractors to seamlessly collaborate through a single platform, creating a vastly improved experience for homeowners and accelerating this vital transition.
