<h1>What we're looking for</h1>
<p>You&rsquo;ll be one of the first hire on Visia&rsquo;s FP&amp;A team, working directly with Raghav, Visia&rsquo;s CEO.</p>
<p>We&rsquo;re looking for analytical thinkers with a passion for AI &amp; circularity, and a strong understanding of company financials, bookkeeping, and hardware/software business models.</p>
<p>If a role involving both face-time with customers as well as being able to work on cutting-edge engineering problems appeals to you, then this might be for you.</p>
<p>You would serve as a bridge between our software and customer support organizations, providing engineering-centric customer insights and product ideas as we scale across North America.</p>
<h1>Responsibilities</h1>
<ul>
<li>Ownership of FP&amp;A workstreams, including the production of a monthly P&amp;L statement (incl collaboration with CPA when needed), managing payables/receivables</li>
<li>Strategic partnership with Raghav on all financial modeling and forecasting &ndash; able to pull key insights from analysis on financial data for the organization</li>
<li>Lead the analysis of financial KPIs, generating data that informs strategic decisions</li>
<li>Ensure all financial operations comply with regulatory standards, managing audits and implementing best practices for financial governance.</li>
<li>Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, capable of scaling with the company's growth</li>
</ul>
<h1>Qualifications</h1>
<ul>
<li>Hands-on commercial business generalist with strategic, financial, and operational orientation to manage people and processes</li>
<li>Strong analytical skills, with the ability to extract key insights from financial data and present them effectively to stakeholders</li>
<li>A willingness to go the extra mile, and do what needs to be done to deliver value to Visia</li>
<li>Prior experience working in hardware, industrials, or SaaS is a nice-to-have</li>

Strategic Finance

<h1>What we're looking for</h1>
<p>You&rsquo;ll be one of the first hires on Visia&rsquo;s forward-deployed software engineering team. We&rsquo;re looking for builders with a customer-centric mindset &mdash; if a role involving face-time with customers, testing ML models on-site, leveraging our proprietary ML platform to drive customer improvements, and being able to work on cutting-edge ML appeals to you, then read on.</p>
<p>You would serve as a bridge between our customers and platform team, driving ML-first improvements and contributing to the Visia platform as we scale across North America.</p>
<h1>Responsibilities</h1>
<ul>
<li>Owning Visia platform implementations at customer facilities
<ul>
<li>Running performance/ML audits on-site</li>
<li>Re-training models (either on-site, or remotely) and faciliitating the addition of new model classes</li>
<li>Building workflows &amp; automation systems that result in scalable &amp; predictable ML performance</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Working closely with Visia&rsquo;s platform team to critically analyze and ideate on real-world additions to the Visia platform</li>
<li>Working to design, implement, and contribute to Visia&rsquo;s ML platform</li>
</ul>
<h1>Qualifications</h1>
<ul>
<li>A background in either Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a similar technical field</li>
<li>Proficiency in Python and a solid understanding of UNIX command line usage</li>
<li>Proficiency in PyTorch, Tensorflow, or an equivalent ML framework, and experience with training deep learning models is a plus</li>
<li>Willingness to travel ~30-50% of your week during busy weeks, and comfortable with getting hands-on at industrial facilities to test system performance</li>
<li>No minimum experience &mdash; just a strong passion for creating positive change in one of the world&rsquo;s most important industries</li>
