Our high power charging stations and the software platform we build around them will be a critical infrastructure piece of the electrical grid and will complement the deployment of high-performance, low-cost, fast-charging infrastructure around America.</span></p><p><br></p><p><strong>The Role:</strong></p><p><span>You will have the opportunity to join us in this mission, take ownership in part of the open-ended problem of EV charging infrastructure, and execute the creation of end-to-end test infrastructure that will level up the industry’s definition of “highly reliable fast charging”. Your contributions will be critical to the long-term success of the company in making EV fast charging ubiquitous and affordable.</span></p><p><br></p><p><span>We are expanding our operations and looking for a skilled/versatile Production Technician to support the manufacturing and development of our innovative PowerNode™ EV charging stations. This role is critical in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality from assembly to delivery.</span></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Assemble, test, and troubleshoot electro-mechanical components of EV charging stations using schematics, assembly drawings and work instructions</li><li>Utilize Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software for process monitoring, control, and optimization, ensuring all production activities are aligned with our high standards.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation of production processes, including assembly records, testing data, and quality checks</li><li>Collaborate with supply chain, software engineers and hardware engineering teams to stay ahead of schedule, implement design improvements and resolve manufacturing issues.</li><li>Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and product quality, employing lean manufacturing principles.</li><li>Actively participate in logistics activities including shipping and receiving, quality assurance and inventory control, using MES and ERP software</li><li>Mentor and educate other technicians  to continuously elevate the Electric Era Production team’s technical acumen </li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Preferred Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Associate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field. Electric Era is building the future of car refill for the next generation of drivers.</p><p><br></p><h1><strong>Role</strong></h1><p>Electric Era is hiring a Sr Manufacturing Engineer to lead the development of the overall manufacturing line and critical manufacturing processes for our next generation charging station. This role is ultimately responsible for making sure that our products are easy and cheap to manufacture at scale, then designing and implementing the manufacturing line required to meet our volume targets. The scope includes detail-focused aspects such design of individual production station, process development for key integration or fabrication steps, all the way through macro level decisions about material flow and overall product design.</p><p><br></p><h1><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h1><p>1. Own overall design and implementation of the production line for Electric Era’s next-gen charging station </p><p>2. Guide product design around design for manufacturing principles to maximize quality and minimize input labor </p><p>3. Identify key processes and develop control windows for them in a systematic and carefully documented way </p><p>4. Project manage development of new production lines, including schedule, budget, and resources allocation </p><p>5. Troubleshoot production line issues and work with production team to implement updated processes and procedures to prevent further occurrences </p><p>6.
