Area/Department description<br>                                Diggia are an international engineering group who provide a suite of services over a range of renewable energy assets; in particular electric vehicle charging infrastructure, ground mounted and rooftop commercial scale and utility scale solar PV, energy efficiency improvements and battery technology.<br><br>Since 2002, we have developed different projects at a global level helping companies and public administrations with innovative, sustainable and human solutions and services. Our commitment is firm: to work to make a positive impact on our planet and on your life by offering sustainable and innovative solutions that help us fight CO2 emissions.                            Your mission<br>                                <ul><li>Oversee the accounting for the group's UK companies (e.g. payroll, fixed assets, payments, collections, supplier invoices, accruals) and record all the adjustment identified in the monthly closings. </li><li>Carrying out monthly closings under IFRS standards.</li><li>Record all invoices on Navision and oversee the process to ensure the timely allocation and approval of invoices.</li><li>Prepare and analyse the annual financial statements and reports throughout the year.</li><li>Oversee the UK audits, including regular liaison with the auditors and responding to any queries in a swift and accurate manner.</li><li>Liaise with the finance department on a regular basis to ensure current and accurate financial models.</li><li>Communicate regularly and build effective partnerships with the accounting supplier and other third parties as required.</li><li>Raise all sales invoices and intercompany for the company’s Operations &amp; Maintenance department, ensuring that all invoices have been signed.</li><li>Support with the remittance process and accounts payable function.</li><li>Proposal for improvements in procedures and implementation of controls to ensure that the financial information reported is correct.</li><li>Any additional duties that are relevant to the role.</li></ul>                            Your profile<br>                                <ul><li>Extensive accounting experience and knowledge of financial processes.</li><li>Accounting knowledge IFRS (Spanish GAAP desirable but not necessary).</li><li>Experience in auditing (desirable but not necessary).</li><li>Knowledge in Navision (desirable but not necessary).</li><li>Expert knowledge of Excel and Office suite.</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working partnerships with a variety of stakeholders.</li><li>Strong organisational and time management skills.</li><li>Ability to make decisions independently.</li><li>Displays a proactive attitude and ability to use initiative.</li></ul>                            What can the company offer you?<br>                                <ul><li>An international and dynamic working environment, where innovation and decision-making are encouraged. Your mission<br>                                <ul><li>Inspecting completed works and works in progress to determine whether they meet the project specifications and requirements.</li><li>Monitoring overall construction performance with regard to technical quality and compliance with design and specification requirements.</li><li>Reporting without delay on work that does not meet the design and specification requirements.</li><li>Working with stakeholders to identify approaches and methods to improve overall quality.</li><li>Ensuring that all colleagues and collaborators that are involved in the project are aware and educated on the required standards.</li><li>Liaising with clients and reporting on progress to key stakeholders and colleagues involved in the project.</li><li>Working onsite in Cambridge on a full time basis (5 days per week).</li></ul>                            Your profile<br>                                <ul><li>Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification in a field related to business and quality control.</li><li>Extensive experience working within quality management in the UK construction sector, particularly with solar PV and BESS projects.</li><li>Good initiative and logical thinking skills</li><li>Ability to multi-task effectively.</li><li>Effective communication skills, verbal and written.</li><li>Strong attention to detail.</li><li>Highly organised and able to work autonomously.</li></ul>                            What can the company offer you?<br>                                <ul><li>An international and dynamic working environment, where innovation and decision-making are encouraged.
