You’ll be responsible for designing and scaling the core data infrastructure that powers all of these platforms, as well as integrating new data sources and market APIs as we expand our footprint. You’ll work closely with researchers and engineers working on our price forecasting and grid optimization technology, and directly with internal users on our Business Operations team. Platform Software Engineer

You will help develop our data infrastructure and research platform, which give our researchers streamlined access to relevant data sources and powerful computing resources, as well as the confidence that their research will translate into real-world results. As an early hire in this role, you will have broad impact and ownership over our platform and framework design, research agenda, technology choices, and team culture.</p><p style=""></p><h1>We’re excited about you because:</h1><ul style=""><li><p style="">You have 1-3 years experience developing production machine learning (or other predictive modeling) systems in an industry setting.</p></li><li><p style="">You have a BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a similar field. You’ll keep abreast of the latest research in quantitative finance and distributionally robust optimization, as well as help develop our data strategy and information systems by evaluating available data sources that can be integrated into our system to improve performance.
