Avina provides clean hydrogen solutions at scale to decarbonize hard-to-abate sectors. We build, own, and operate green hydrogen and hydrogen derivative plants. 

Avina is looking to hire a dynamic, enterprising, intellectually curious candidate as a Associate Project Manager to be part of various project teams that are implementing cutting edge world scale hydrogen and derivative fuel projects.The Associate Project Manager will be involved in the engineering, construction, and commissioning process of hydrogen and clean fuel projects. This position will require working with the internal project/engineering teams and external FEED/EPC contractors and interacting with permitting agencies, contractors, suppliers, and the end customer to ensure smooth project execution. The ideal candidate should have a background in oil &amp; gas sector project management and should be willing to travel as required to deployment locations. Significant capital project management experience is preferred; hydrogen development expertise not required.You should apply if you aspire to:<ul><li>Manage a diverse group of passionate professionals</li><li>Aggressively pursue excellence in a challenging technological environment</li><li>Create change on a global scale through the application of leading-edge technologies</li></ul>Core Responsibilities:<ul><li>Coordinate the activities of all stakeholders involved in project development, including negotiating and engaging with land owners to ensure site control, permitting agencies, and other relevant county officials to secure all required approvals for the project, contractors and EPC partners, and all others as needed</li><li>Engage and negotiate with renewable companies and power grids to secure project input power.</li><li>Work with county officials to secure water supply for the projects</li><li>Coordinate and engage with technology suppliers such as electrolyzer vendors, storage companies, compression companies, etc.</li><li>Collaborate with internal project teams as necessary.</li><li>Help to manage project schedules and resolve problems as necessary.</li><li>Provide expertise to assist in developing project financial models, budgetary estimates, proposals in response to an RFP, etc.</li></ul>Experience Preferred:<ul><li>Managing projects to success with budgets of more than USD 25 million</li><li>Developing and managing project budgets and schedules</li><li>Successful completion of projects with aggressive schedules</li><li>Working with new technologies</li><li>Managing cross-functional teams across multiple business units</li></ul>Skills Required:<ul><li>BS or MS in Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of project management in a relevant field</li><li>Strong organizational ability, including ability to manage deliverables and timeline for execution to achieve project goals.</li><li>Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices</li><li>Excellent analytical skills</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and MS Project</li></ul>Compensation:- Competitive salary commensurate with experience.- Discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance.- Equity ownership opportunities to align with the long-term success and growth of the company.&nbsp;Why Join AVINA Clean Hydrogen:At AVINA Clean Hydrogen, you will have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team at the forefront of innovation in clean energy technology.
