About AmpereAmpere is an early-stage venture backed climate financial technology startup looking to revolutionize investments in electrification assets, starting with the small-industrial sector. Our product is an end-to-end platform that automates identification of bespoke electrification upgrades for customers, reducing multiple barriers to clean technology adoption. Our mission is to build a next-generation financial technology that fundamentally changes how new climate assets are evaluated and installed to help channel billions towards solving the climate crisis.Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Founding Engineer who is passionate about solving the climate crisis through technology to join Ampere and play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction of our product. As the Founding Engineer you'll lead the product development and partner with our team and customers. You will work closely with the founding team to lead the development of our product, ensuring scalability, reliability, and exceptional user experience.Compensation: Competitive salary + equityKey responsibilities<ul><li>Lead technical vision: Drive the technical aspects of our AI/ML project alongside an ML data engineer</li><li>Build the product from the ground up alongside a small, scrappy, technical team</li><li>Strategic guidance: Provide technical vision to shape our technology strategy and contribute to architectural design and documentation</li><li>Talent acquisition: Collaborate with the founders to identify and recruit top technical talent, conducting technical interviews to build powerhouse team.</li></ul>Desired hands-on technical skills<ul><li>5-10 years of work experience, with startup experience as a strong advantage.</li><li>Proven technical leadership in dynamic environments, ideally within startups.</li><li>Our MVP is built in Flutterflow, Anvil and Python.
