The Manager is responsible for leading coalition management as well as managing our global network of partners. The ideal candidate has a background in coalition management, trade associations, or partnerships. We value nimbleness: we are an agile team that is responsive to political and marketplace developments.&nbsp;Primary ResponsibilitiesCoalition Management: Supporting our coalition of more than 100 organizations is a key focus of the role, including regular engagement with members. Management includes recruiting, on-boarding, and renewing members.Enhance Partnerships: Serve as a resource for our global network of partners and build new partnerships with nonprofits, academic institutions, and other sectors. This includes managing and enhancing partnerships through regular meetings and more.&nbsp;Run Coalition Working Groups: Support working groups on specific carbon removal pathways, like direct air capture and enhanced weathering. Also support regional working groups. Coalition &amp; Partner Communications: Engage with coalition members and partners through regular communications, including a monthly coalition meeting.&nbsp;Ecosystem &amp; Policy Coordination: Serve as a resource for the carbon removal community, coordinating between coalition members and real-time policy and communications opportunities.&nbsp;Special Projects: The Manager will have the opportunity to lead on special projects, including engagement around major climate events like New York Climate Week.&nbsp; Required Qualifications&nbsp;<ul><li>At least three to five years of experience in coalition management, partnerships management, trade associations, or public policy.</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills, including project management experience.&nbsp;</li><li>Creative and strategic thinker with the proven ability to translate ideas into action.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication, including public speaking.&nbsp;</li><li>Proficiency in written and spoken English.&nbsp;</li><li>Authorization to work in the United States, Canada, or European Union.&nbsp;</li></ul>Desired Qualifications&nbsp;<ul><li>Prior experience and/or demonstrated interest in carbon removal and/or climate change.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience working with startups.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience working in global markets, including European Union, Canada, United Kingdom, Asia or other regions.&nbsp;</li><li>Familiarity with online tools like Hubspot, Slack, and Squarespace.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience organizing events, in-person or webinars.&nbsp;</li></ul>Location &amp; Hours&nbsp;Our team is fully remote and we work on US East Coast (EST) hours. Support on preparing policy briefs, policy publications, and responses to government RFIs.&nbsp;Communications: Support external and internal communications, including drafting regular update emails to coalition members.
