PowerHouse Texas was established in 2022 by the Texas Energy and Climate Caucus to bridge the political divide and build consensus across the aisle around critical energy policy issues. PowerHouse Texas is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that educates and cultivates policy leaders to promote energy innovation, security, and sustainability. We go beyond partisanship so policymakers, legislative staff, industry experts, innovators and public citizens can share solutions that will secure Texas’ position as a leader in energy and advance new technologies. PowerHouse Texas (501c3) equips Texas energy policy leaders through programs such as the Policy Fellowship, Energy Policy Advisory Council, Texas Energy Tour, Innovation Forums, and Energy Academy.
Texas Energy & Climate Caucus (501c4) is a bipartisan legislative caucus advancing a sustainable Texas energy economy and job growth, complementing the educational work of PowerHouse Texas. The Caucus provides lawmakers with a forum to explore pragmatic energy solutions that strengthen Texas’s leadership in innovation while addressing the realities of extreme weather. By fostering collaboration across party lines, it works to ensure that energy policy supports resilient communities, competitive industries, and long-term prosperity for all Texans.
