Founded by MIT engineers, with investment from Y Combinator, our software helps teams convert data collected through aerial inspections and on-site sensors into accurate, high-value system analytics and reports. We support the entire solar stack across six continents, to identify and localize anomalies that affect energy production.

Raptor Maps is looking for a dynamic Product Designer to help design and expand products that drive the efficiency and ROI of solar farms around the world. In this role, you will provide input into overall design decisions and complete the tactical design work associated with your projects. You'll be a member of our product team, working together with designers, engineers, and other cross functional stakeholders to build product solutions that address real user needs. You are a design thinker with a creative eye who is passionate about user experience. You love translating the wants and needs of customers into high impact product design features. In this role, you will dive right into our fast-paced, multi-faceted product team and play a vital part in scaling our user experience and design system. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain an effective and scaleable financial planning and analysis (FP&A) capability that will allow for real-time, variance analysis Own the budgeting and forecasting balance sheets, income statements, and related financial statements Manage the cashflow needs of the company and implement solutions that streamline operations and reduce costs Provide guidance and feedback on budget operation goals across all teams Owns effective financial and operational metrics to provide the Board of Directors with concise information regarding the company’s performance Oversee and direct audit, tax, and accounting Support M&A activities and corporate financing solutions as needed Monitor and ensure compliance with GAAP standards and/or regulatory rules Providing strategic guidance around capital financing options to support growth Manage outside vendors for 409A, banking relationships, venture debt Put scalable financial and key metric systems into place Manage and build out a finance team Support contract review and various financial related items Qualifications: Significant experience in preparing or directing financial statements, financial position forecasts, and annual budgets for a B2B SaaS company Revenue recognition and ASC 606 experience preferred Experience with audit process Ability to work both independently with minimal guidance and cross functionally with various teams Experience working with scaling startups Experience building out an effective finance team Must be primarily located in the contiguous US Must be authorized to work in the US All Raptor Maps Team Members Have: Complete ownership and accountability over their role and success in the team.Transparency into the operations of the rest of the company and are expected to be transparent and communicate honestly and effectively.A sense of urgency. Parties across the entire solar lifecycle use Raptor Maps’ data model to manage ever growing utility-scale solar portfolios. We are an industry leader with hundreds of customers, including owners, builders, operators, and aerial service providers, across over 40 countries with 200+ million solar panels under management. Our software platform is essential in the fight against climate change. We are looking for a business development expert to level up our strategic sales. This role will engage with the largest stakeholders in the solar industry to forge meaningful partnerships, build project finance models to support the sales team, and lead the charge to bring new value to customers as the Raptor Maps platform expands. The right candidate for this role can work with a high level of autonomy, develop and execute out-of-the-box sales strategies, and develop deep relationships with key stakeholders. The breadth of this role will require a well-rounded candidate who can leverage strong critical thinking skills to tackle new, unique challenges.
