Voltpost is seeking an iOS Software Developer with 5-8 years of experience to help build our curbside EV charging mobile app. Voltpost is developing the next generation of curbside EV charging, and needs to build out its iOS Mobile App that users will use to charge their vehicles with, search for available chargers, make charging reservations, and see charging history and gamification stats. Compensation is commensurate with experience. Responsibilities: Developing mobile apps for iOS Collaborating with the product and design team members to define and ship new features Ensuring quality and performance of app Identifying potential problems and resolving application bottlenecks Fixing application bugs Unit testing code for reliability Desired Skills: iOS Mobile Application Development Experience (Please include app store link of applications and short list of main contributions in resume) Experience developing for iPhone and iPad, across multiple resolutions and iOS versions Experience with Swift and SwiftUI, and embedding UIKit within SwiftUI Experience with ​​iOS architecture patterns including Clean Architecture and/or MVVM Experience with XCTest and XCUITest Experience distributing beta versions of apps via TestFlightExperience with iOS Frameworks such as Combine, Core Data, Core Animation, Core Location, EventKit Experience with push notifications, APIs, and cloud messaging Experience developing map-based mobile applications (MapKit, Mapbox, or OpenStreetMap) Experience with OAuth authentication

Voltpost is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 2-5 years of experience or recent Master’s Graduate with 0-2 years of experience to join our San Francisco hardware team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of engineering first principles, and experience in consumer electronics, robotic, or automotive product development. Experience building prototypes and troubleshooting mass production are required. Experience designing complex or robotic mechanisms for mass production is a plus. Expert knowledge of structure design and analysis is a plus. We are looking for someone who can design complex innovative products on their own, who is comfortable with the ever changing uncertainty of developing new products, and has the experience to work independently as part of a team of individual contributors. Required Skills Expert in 3D CAD (SolidWorks or NX) Demonstrated ability to design structures based on service loads in all materials Experience Designing parts for injection molding Ability to create clear and concise fabrication drawings Experience with ASME-Y14.5 and GD&T Critical reasoning in the design of mechanisms and machines Great attention to detail Great Communication Skills Bonus Skills Electrical and Electronics Knowledge Experience Designing and Building Robots Experience with Embedded systems development and board bring-up CAE/FEA/CFD Experience designing and building to standards/regulations (FCC/UL/ISO/IEC)
