This position will drive Terawatt’s site development and due diligence processes for high value, high visibility commercial and industrial real estate across the US. As a reliable source of site specific information to numerous stakeholders, this role requires deep knowledge of the site diligence and development process, enough to support a fast-paced acquisition team and project deployment plan for large-scale EV charging deployments. You are a self-starter, have a strong attention to detail, exceptional time management skills and organizational capacity to effectively manage multiple projects with competing priorities, including site-specific project schedules, budgets, and other internal project control and reporting tools. With a demonstrated track record of success in project management EVs or related fields, you will bring due diligence expertise and provide hands-on leadership to grow with the team to deliver world class EV solutions and sites. Core Responsibilities
Provide leadership in managing multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
Act as a liaison to TeraWatt’s Real Estate, Energy & Utilities, Business Development, and Construction teams to support project origination, real estate acquisitions, site validation and feasibility, RFPs and partner inquiries, project modeling, permitting, utility interconnection, and other duties as needed to advance a project to NTP.
Research and obtain critical market and site-specific information necessary to achieve site acquisition and development goals (i.e., land use, enviro, local codes, surveys, etc.) Identify risks, site constraints, and project characteristics to inform concept designs.
Create and manage project charters, site plans, schedules, and reporting documents on all active projects to ensure a seamless hand-off and clear pathway to construction..Establish, manage, and optimize third-party consultant relationships to support diligence.
Collaborate with peers to create project charters and intake forms that define properties, project plans, interconnection, and site layout guidance for engineers and consultants.
Actively digest and organize incoming data, flagging relevant findings within TeraWatt’s databases, CRM, and dashboards to ensure real-time reporting and informed decisions.
Carry out site assessments, mapping exercises, desktop research, and analyze reports to support Terawatt’s real estate and construction teams in advancing acquisitions.
Act as a reliable source of truth for site diligence information to all stakeholders, including; TeraWatt colleagues, AHJs, consultants, engineers, and others. Ensure deliverables meet high-quality standards.
5+ years of relevant experience, preferably from the following: Real Estate (commercial, retail, or industrial), Renewable Energy Development, Code/Entitlement/DD Consulting, Fueling Stations, Transportation, AHJ/Utilities.
Demonstrated track record of success managing the early site development process.
Analytical, proactive, and confident decision maker.
Intensely organized, efficient, and focused - able to prioritize competing schedules.
Thrives in a fast-paced, innovative, supportive, and collaborative environment.
Four-year Bachelor’s Degree.
