What You'll Do Provide strong leadership over a team responsible for the execution of the supervisory procedure/ QA including (testing of controls) of a FINRA-registered broker-dealer to provide oversight of customer cash management accounts and other products, as applicable, including: Customer on-boarding and off-boarding Receipt and delivery funds (checks, ACH, wire transfers) Disputes Fraud and financial crimes Customer Support Oversight of the supervisory functions of an SEC-registered investment advisor, including: Mutual Fund Trade review Mutual Fund Trade corrections Implement supervisory procedures relating to the oversight System Development/ Product Life Cycle, including: trade confirmation and account statements; defining and approving business requirements systems and validation that these systems meet such business requirements; Oversight of Aspiration Customer Engagement call center function ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience at every touchpoint. Provide leadership and direction in the areas of banking operations with a sound eye towards compliance and banking risk management. What You'll Do Lead the solution discovery, requirements gathering, and user story definition to help drive key feature delivery of enhanced and new banking features Drive the financial services member  value stream, to ensure that our members' voice is represented in the build-out and delivery of key banking product features Lead the ideation cross–functional collaboration to help  communicate new banking features to internal stakeholders and our member base Analyze qualitative and quantitative research to identify, prioritize and iterate on product existing and new product opportunities Collaborate with members of the operations, customer engagement, and risk teams to identify internal stakeholder requirements for existing product features Ensure that Aspiration customers have a remarkably intuitive, helpful and reliable experience managing their finances. Create and maintain a product backlog of features and user stories, while also prioritizing  the product backlog according to business value and alignment with roadmap strategy Inspect product progress during each sprint and accept or reject the work What You'll Bring 3-5 years of product development experience. Hypothesis Driven Research & Analysis Knowledge of Agile/Scrum best practices & trends Strong desire to understand and revolutionize the financial industry. Proven ability to create high quality, high impact experiences with considered haste. Ability to lead in a collaborative team environment. A primal obsession with our customer’s financial success. Experience building consumer-facing financial products a plus. Experience with Galileo Processing and Plaid a plus. Startup/tech company experience a plus.
