About the Position Equilibrium (a FiscalNote company) is seeking a product manager to help build next-generation environmental, social and corporate governance software. Equilibrium empowers our customers to create, control, and communicate their ESG story through a holistic, sustainability data-management platform. Expecting to have this role work in strong alignment with the PST time zone What To Expect In This Position:
Gain a deep understanding of customer needs and the ESG/sustainability subject matter
Work with our in-house ESG/sustainability experts and customers to embed knowledge and best practices into the product
Maintain and organize the product roadmap in collaboration with the Product Lead and stakeholders
Identify and fill product gaps with new features and improvements that support customer needs and increase product-market fit
Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and drive high-quality execution with the development team
Develop and improve internal processes
Organize, prioritize, and scope requirements based on business and customer impact
Be a champion of product quality in collaboration with designers, developers, and QA/QC
Understand and resolve product-related blockers across teams
Drive product launches by preparing enablement materials; write product documentation for the benefit of internal teams and customers
Solicit feedback from customers and the market to understand pain points and needs to deliver high-value product functions with strong usability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, executives, and stakeholders on product vision and details, and keep the company informed on product details and timelines.
What Sets You Apart:
Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Mandarin
Experience in Jira, Trello, Monday.com, Asana, or similar task management systems
Proven ability to build and expand complex products and deliver solutions for difficult, ambiguous challenges
3-5 years of professional experience in product management with B2B/enterprise customers
Demonstrated ability to solicit feedback and build buy-in from stakeholders and users
Strong track record of execution with development teams
Ability to balance conflicting requirements to deliver strong and valuable features
Demonstrated ownership mentality in building great products
A strong understanding of technical details for web apps, design, APIs, and integrations
Interest in ESG/sustainability topics is a plus, but experience in ESG/sustainability is not required, we’ll teach you!
Familiarity with Figma and/or design experience preferred
Startup experience, or interest in working in a startup culture
Experience with enterprise data, ERPs, HR systems, logistics, and/or utility data is a plus but not required
