They are part of the Platform Design Team, and operate across Kaluza either by embedding in product teams, like our Developer Documentation team, or working on cross-cutting initiatives such as creating our Product Specification. We’re looking for a Technical Writer who can deliver pristine, accurate and effective documentation that helps our users, e.g. software engineers, product managers, external developers, to perform their jobs. You will set the highest standards for technical writing across the organisation and ensure all our product teams have the documentation support they need. This could be product-related – microcopy, product launches and technical documentation (APIs and GraphQL) – or for pitches, people policies, contracts, training manuals  and specifications. What will I be doing? Creating strategic writing frameworks Identifying documentation needs and opportunities across Kaluza, including API references, product specifications, people policies and legal contracts. Establishing strong relationships with our product squads and teams, raising the visibility and impact of the technical writing practice. Helping Product and Engineering teams document their work and building a ‘documentation-led’ mindset across the organisation. Creating training resources to upskill others so that the overall quality of writing improves and scales. Consistently producing high-quality work to tight deadlines. Setting an example across the organisation for brilliantly written, simple to read, error-free technical content. Is this the job for me? Ideally you will have: Knowledge of product and engineering processes, particularly the development of APIs. Knowledge of documentation processes and ideas/examples of what makes great developer and API documentation. Experience creating content strategies. Bridging the gap between distributed renewable generation and smart devices, it helps consumers shift their energy consumption to times when there's more renewable energy. This not only saves them money, but enables society as a whole to meet the challenge of decarbonising transport and residential heating/cooling. What will I be doing? We are recruiting for a Business Development Manager to support Kaluza Flex commercialisation in the US. As business Development Manager, you will report to the Head of Business Development and be responsible for driving revenue growth from the Kaluza Flex product suite. You will be an important part of the wider BD team responsible for the sales cycle with key clients from early stage relationship building through to sale closing, as well as delivering strategic partnerships. As Business Development Manager, you will be supported by a range of Kaluza colleagues: marketing and policy experts, solutions architects, partnership managers and in-life client executives.  Together, you will be expected to build client relationships from an early stage, identify their needs, propose compelling applications of the Kaluza Flex product suite and ultimately negotiate and contract with them for our services.  You will also be expected to liaise with key stakeholders in the business when creating proposals for specific clients. Some example activities include; Identifying and engaging potential clients Building the sales pipeline in the US Forecasting and reporting revenue growth for the senior management Delivering intro sales pitches to new clients Developing client-specific proposals Contract and pricing negotiation Distilling and relaying market intelligence to internal teams to guide the roadmap Coordinating sales activities across teams (e.g. marketing, pre-sales, legal, delivery) Winning renewals and upsells with account management team Identifying new opportunities for Kaluza Flex capabilities to add value to customers As Business Development Manager for the US you will also play a key role in our commercial and go-to-market strategy, helping to identify new business opportunities, inform our product development roadmap and business planning.
