If our mission aligns with your values and personal goals, we want to get to know you!Your responsibilities<ul> <li>Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with German accounting standards (HGB).</li> <li>Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Monitor and analyse actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and proposing corrective actions.</li> <li>Conduct financial analysis, including profitability analysis, cost analysis, and trend analysis, to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.</li> <li>Manage and forecast cash flows to ensure adequate liquidity for day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with German tax regulations, prepare and file tax returns, and manage relationships with external tax advisors.</li> <li>Develop and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.</li> <li>Coordinate and manage annual financial audits, liaising with external auditors to provide necessary documentation and support.</li> <li>Stay current with German financial regulations and accounting standards, ensuring the company's adherence to all relevant laws and regulations.</li> <li>Continuously enhance financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing financial guidance and support on various projects and initiatives.</li> </ul>Requirements<ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.</li> <li>5+ years of progressive experience in financial control, accounting, or finance management.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of German accounting standards (HGB) and tax regulations; IFRS is a big plus.</li> <li>Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Google Sheets, Excel, ERP systems such as Xero, Datev, or similar).</li> <li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.</li> <li>ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or other relevant qualification is a plus.</li> </ul>Benefits<ul> <li>Participate in our PPR program and share in the company's long-term growth and success.</li> <li>Discounts and benefits are available through the Plan A Corporate Benefits Platform, with an online portfolio offering a variety of sustainable brands.</li> <li>Monthly team activities, company on- and off-sites, and weekly in-person team gatherings.</li> <li>28 vacation days per year, 30 days of working-from-anywhere, 1 volunteering day per year, plus annual educational leave.</li> </ul>What you can expect from Plan A<ul> <li>Contribution to a bigger purpose!
