Job Description

At Neuterra Inc., we are reimagining consumerism by providing the most transparent way to shop for a planet with finite resources. We use traceability and supply chain technologies to enable consumers to make the most informed buying decisions available to the public.

Neuterra Inc. is hiring a passionate Director of Ethical Supply Chains. You would join the founding team as one of the first hires and help develop and launch our innovative platform. You would work in a fast-paced environment, lead societal and environmental supply chain responsibility initiatives, contribute to company innovation efforts, and communicate with internal and external shareholders as we near Series A funding.

As a small team, we’re looking for someone that can wear multiple hats on ethical supply chain side and cross-collaborate with the business and technology side. Prior startup experience isn’t required, but the passion to help lead the charge on a purpose-driven entrepreneurial endeavor with an early-stage startup is.

Strong candidates will have some or all of the following attributes. Please note, we value people over resumes.

Your Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • 2 years + in supply chain planning, logistics, or warehouse management
  • Team player
  • Strong spreadsheet skills
  • Superlative organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proactive and takes initiative
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Experience with ERP programs
  • Familiarity with safety regulations, including those outlined by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)

What Makes You Stand Out:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management/Logistics or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Previous experience with Transport Management Systems (TMS)
  • APICS certification
  • Environmentalism and/or societal efforts or activism

Your Responsibilities:

  • Contribute a minimum of 20 hours per week while working on an equity vesting schedule, without pay 
  • Work full-time on a market rate salary (or higher) post seed funding
  • Align with the company’s vision, needs, and expectations
  • Help mold and maintain an egalitarianism culture from the top down
  • Handle communications and negotiations with suppliers
  • Work with freight forwards and transportation companies
  • Execute best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborates with procurement, Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO), and internal and external stakeholders
  • Follow all safety protocols and processes and report
  • Some travel required (post Covid-19)
