Non-profit consultant

Ecotopian Careers helps people in midlife transition to green jobs. We do this by:

• Developing awareness about midlife jobseekers among green employers
• Creating and curating resources for midlife jobseekers for their green job search

We are looking for an experienced consultant who can provide guidance about potentially structuring Ecotopian Careers as a non-profit organization (in the United States). The current website serves as a proof of concept/minimum viable product. In particular the consultant would:

• Explore the viability of structuring Ecotopian Careers as a non-profit organization
• If proved viable, provide guidance for the administrative establishment of Ecotopian Careers as a non-profit organization
• Provide guidance for the seeking of funding for Ecotopian Careers as a non-profit organization.

This is a volunteer role, so the consultant really needs to believe in the value of the Ecotopian Careers mission. That said, it would make perfect sense for the consultant to build a funded role for themselves into the ongoing Ecotopian Careers offering if they wished.
