We are looking for a rising star with 1-2 years of experience to join our firm as an Analyst. In this role, you will conduct in-depth sector and company analysis, investment due diligence, help identify areas of investment opportunity, and support marketing efforts for the fund. A successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to build complex financial models, perform research, and communicate effectively with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders. You are analytical, strategic, initiative taking, and capable of identifying creative paths to investment opportunities.
Responsibilities:

Deal Screening: Call and/or meet with investment prospects and evaluate opportunities
</li>
<li>
Documentation: Summarize call notes and enter deals into CRM
</li>
<li>
Conduct research to uncover investment themes and company leads
</li>
<li>
Conduct financial and business (e.g. industry analysis, competitive position, growth prospects, financial modeling) diligence for prospective investments
</li>
<li>
Participate in the strategic planning and budgeting process with portfolio companies
</li>
<li>
Analyze portfolio company financials and assist with portfolio company performance, reporting, and modeling
</li>
<li>
Assist in the creation of presentations for the internal investment committee and fund limited partners
</li>
<li>
Attend conferences and trade shows to investigate companies and industries
</li>
<li>
Assist on marketing efforts for the fund, including social media and website
</li>

Qualifications:

Bachelor&rsquo;s degree
</li>
<li>
Ideal experience is 1-2 years of investment banking, venture capital, consulting, technology, or corporate development experience
</li>
<li>
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
</li>
<li>
Demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis
</li>
<li>
Experience building complex financial models in Excel
</li>
<li>
Strong work ethic and demonstrated desire to learn
</li>
<li>
Significant leadership experience
</li>
<li>
Technical mindset and a demonstrated passion for figuring out how things work
</li>
<li>
Team player who can work with a broad range of groups and personalities
