Role Description
We are looking for a hands-on individual to help us develop our core technology by contributing to our Advanced Manufacturing organization. In this role, individuals will work directly with our technical team manufacturing cathodes. You will be responsible for operating pilot scale manufacturing equipment as we prepare for our first major installations. 

We are running a multi-shift operation and hiring for 8 and 12 hour shifts.

This opportunity is based out of Form Energy's Eighty Four, PA location (Greater Pittsburgh Area).


What You'll Do:

  • Inspect, organize and prepare raw material, components and hardware  
  • Track material usage to provide traceability, perform inventory cycle counts
  • Operate pilot scale manufacturing equipment
  • Follow standard operating procedures and document process conditions and deviations
  • Work with the technical team to troubleshoot processing issues
  • Collaborate with the technical team to improve production processes
  • Maintain process conditions in a fashion that facilities cleanliness and productivity for other team members

What You'll Bring:

  • 0-5 years of experience relating to working with chemicals in laboratory or production environment
  • Familiarity operating small to medium sized equipment
  • Experience with general chemical hygiene
  • Experience wearing PPE in a production environment 
  • Solid communication skills within a group of peers and broader organization
  • Positive attitude and appetite to learn and grow
  • Willingness to share ideas to contribute to organizational and technical problem solving
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds 
  • Ability to be on your feet for extended periods

The salary range for this role is $23/hour - $27.50/hour. The range listed is what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and may be modified in the future. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
