Duties and responsibilities:

Responsible for delivering high quality embedded code, hands on hardware bring-up which might include motor controller, thermal controller, etc.

Specifically, the job duties include:

1. Implement the firmware on hardware with C code or through model-based design tool such Matlab/Simulink;

2. Design and specify the software architecture;

3. Specify, design, and implement tool for embedded subsystems;

4. Driver development, hardware testing debugging, and component/vehicle bring-up;

5. Design testing and calibration tool in the test bench;

6. Identify the root cause of component or vehicle issues and lead cross function team to deliver the solution

7. Optimize the embedded code for the product requirements.

Other Requirements:

Master’s degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering, EE or related plus at least 5 years of experience 

Experience with UDS and OTA development for EV applications is preferred

Experience with model-based development for EV applications is preferred

REQUIRED:

Seasoned firmware engineer (staff or even higher level) with sufficient EV MCU firmware development and production experience who can potentially lead the firmware team
