CarbonBuilt team members will have the opportunity to make a global and long-lasting impact on the defining challenge of our time – climate change. As we prepare for commercial introduction later this year, CarbonBuilt is seeking a project manager to join our rapidly growing team.
You will work directly with CarbonBuilt’s engineering and supply chain teams to implement the construction and commissioning of concrete plant retrofits and/or greenfield concrete masonry plants. The ideal candidate seeks ownership of timelines, partner relations, and possesses a proven track record of successful project implementation. They will ensure exemplary management of project schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and documentation.
Qualifications:
5+ years of relevant industry experience (concrete product manufacturing is preferred, but not essential)
Repeated success (i.e., met performance objectives on time and within budget) managing multi-million dollar industrial projects from start to finish
Ability to travel (locations will vary)
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously (at least 3 concurrent projects)
Highly organized, collaborates effectively, communicates clearly, and drives progress
Experience creating and negotiating project requirements documents, equipment specifications and contract agreements
Competency with project management best practices and emerging software tools
Thorough knowledge of project delivery, including contract management, raw material planning, equipment optimization, risk/change management, and vendor negotiation
Responsibilities:
Manage multi-million dollar industrial projects from start to finish, ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time and within budget
Monitor and track project progress and ensure that projects are delivered on schedule
Schedule, supervise, and monitor performance of internal resources and third parties (vendors and contractors)
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Effectively communicate all aspects of the project internally and externally as required
Adapt to unplanned changes swiftly and pragmatically
Collaborate with business development colleagues on feasibility studies and contract execution
Represent CarbonBuilt in meetings with any and all project stakeholders as required
