Aspiration is hiring a Lead Designer, Brand for our growing Brand Creative department. As Lead Designer, you'll work closely with the SVPs of Brand Creative to build a visual identity in which our stories and business come to life. You’ll lead the development, maintenance, and evolution of our global visual presence. You’ll conceptualize and build solutions to various design challenges ranging from brand systems to campaigns large and small. You’ll also demonstrate an ability to collaborate with the Brand Creative team, cross-functional partners, and business stakeholders. Your tactful approach, stunning work, detailed methodology, and high degree of craft will help strengthen the team. Established knowledge in graphic design, visual identity, brand systems, typography, storytelling, and an ability to oversee photography and illustration is needed.

What You'll Bring
You understand the principles of how to build an indelible brand.
You can draw a clear line between strategy and minor design decisions with experience building brands or campaigns whose individual design elements live up to a singular and cohesive strategic vision. You are a storyteller at heart, able to articulate to non-creatives why design decisions matter. You aspire to do work that penetrates beyond marketing, fintech, or environmental sciences and pushes into the culture at large – bringing insights and references from across cultures to help shape the work.
You understand the project lifecycle from brief writing to guideline building and will be responsible for all aspects of the work, from concept to delivery.
Mastery of the grid, typographic principles, semiotics, and color theory. Mastery of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, and Google Slides.
Experience with 3D tools like C4D, Blender, or SplineExperience with print tools like InDesignExperience designing for a wide range of media. Experience developing visual guidelines.
Has a portfolio that demonstrates a history of deploying these skills.
Our Ideal candidate has experience as a design lead or senior designer at a branding agency, advertising agency, design studio, or in-house design team.
