Cruise is looking for an experienced product manager to help us envision and deliver the next generation of development tools and platforms for our internal engineers. For Cruise to move from R&D into commercialization, we must remove barriers for our AV engineers and enable them to focus on the things that matter most.
In this position you will partner with Cruise’s developer productivity engineering team, designers, and program managers to deliver products that significantly enhance the productivity of our internal customers. Your products will be used every day by our AV engineering community as they build, test, and integrate their changes. Your efforts will accelerate our collective engineering velocity and ultimately bring Cruise closer to achieving our shared mission.

Own product roadmaps of our custom build, continuous integration, and code-level testing systems.
Own product strategy by setting critical metrics and prioritizing team efforts against product goals
Create deep connections with our (internal) robotics and AI engineering customers and translate their needs into product improvements
Ship, measure, and iterate
You have 5+ years of product management experience with a track record of driving measurable impact
You demonstrate customer empathy and focus, with specific experience building products (commercial or internal) for software developers
You have a technical background and comfort with the tools and processes used to write software
You think equally about both “what” and “why” behind your products and are comfortable working through high level product strategy and deep product requirements
You are deeply analytical and comfortable making arguments with data
Experience in the AV industry or familiarity with AV software and simulation technology
Formal software engineering experience
