By showing companies the business case for mitigating water risk, Waterplan accelerates the transition to a world where companies are incentivized to save more water, abate the discharge of polluting effluents, conserve watersheds and preserve shared value.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a seasoned Senior Enterprise Account Executive with a track record of exceeding quotas and experience in consultative SAAS to join the Revenue team at Waterplan.

We are a dedicated and talented team with ambitious growth goals planned for the next few years.

About your core focus

We are looking for early sales hires in the US who want to bring Waterplan to more companies. Every year, 30% more companies launch and report climate water resilience programs globally (Source: CDP Water Security). Your mission will be to create and expand Waterplan’s network of customers in different industries and nurture existing ones. You will build long-term customer relationships with global water corporate champions that aim to accelerate the water transition using technology and help us scale this passionate team. 

 

Main responsibilities include:

  • Sell Waterplan. Be proactively creative to find new corporate client opportunities, expand Waterplan adoption globally within customers, build long-term relationships and share how technology has accelerated how corporations can make the right decisions to save time and money while protecting their watersheds. Find new market segments for Waterplan. 

  • Help write our sales playbook and share market feedback with the Waterplan team. Inform Waterplan product strategy by sharing insights from customers on the front line. 

  • Participate and speak at events and conferences, meeting new leads and current clients.

  • Become a water expert and raise awareness around the fast-growing impact of solutions against the global water crisis.

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Track record of enterprise sales (Managers, VPs, C-Suite).

  • You are a good listener and consultative seller, able to listen to and understand clients' challenges and help them achieve their goals. 

  • Excited about the early days of a startup, learning from customers, informing product strategy, refining the sales playbook, and thinking of innovative ways to tell the Waterplan story. 

  • Skilled communicator. Passionate about the environment and water. 

  • A team player with experience selling products in complex and technical fields. Excited to learn about the environment and water and relentlessly curious. 

  • Have a track record of doing whatever it takes to get things done. You’ve accomplished something that others thought was impossible. You’re relentlessly resourceful.

  • Previous experience in the Climate Tech space.

  • Be located in the US.
