Job title: OEM Partnerships and Alliances Lead - US
Location: California, US
Salary: Competitive Salary
Kaluza wants to power a world where net-zero is within everyone’s reach, by building the platform that will accelerate a sustainable, affordable and resilient energy transition. It’s a huge challenge, but often the toughest problems are the most rewarding to solve.
Since launching in 2019, Kaluza’s technology has been empowering some of the biggest energy suppliers to better serve millions of customers.
From revolutionising billing to smart electric vehicle charging, our real-time cloud platforms transform supplier operations, reducing cost to serve and boosting engagement. And most importantly, they enable suppliers' customers to drive decarbonisation with smart, low carbon technologies.
Kaluza is expanding into new international markets as energy companies everywhere are challenged with providing affordable, green and reliable energy solutions to their customers. This position will be part of Kaluza's growing team in California helping us build relationships and boost brand awareness across North America so we can solve these challenges and accelerate decarbonisation.
Where in the world of Kaluza will I be working?
You’ll be joining the Kaluza Partnerships Team. We’re a small team of experienced Partnerships Leaders that look after Kaluza’s partnerships with its most important strategic and long-term partners.
You’ll be working on Kaluza’s Flexibility platform. Designed to be the nervous system connecting energy retailers, grid operators, and consumers, Flex will aid us in creating the distributed, consumer-centric, dynamic energy system of the future. Bridging the gap between distributed renewable generation and smart devices, it helps consumers shift their energy consumption to times when there's more renewable energy. This not only saves them money, but enables society as a whole to meet the challenge of decarbonising transport and residential heating/cooling. We’re also supporting this vital shift by building the innovative technology behind unique, market-leading customer propositions like Vehicle to Grid and Drive Anytime Energy Plan with our energy retailer partners.
What will I be doing?
As OEM Partnerships and Alliances Lead you will be a senior contributor reporting to the Head of Partnerships and responsible for building and maintaining partnerships with EV/ automotive OEMs and other partners in the EV/ automotive ecosystem across the US. You will also help our internal business, PM and eng teams to align on the right approaches and partnership strategy for your partners.
Kaluza operates in a complex industry, and to succeed, we cannot achieve our goals by working alone. We need to identify which partners to focus on and invest time in building relationships with the right stakeholders within them. We want to foster strong partnerships with all major OEMs, allowing us to jointly build a vibrant partner ecosystem that leverages the strengths of Kaluza’s Flexibility Platform. You will help us do so in four main ways:
