Climatize makes it incredibly simple to invest in renewable energy projects across the US while potentially earning up to 10% annually. Having successfully raised over $4,350,000 for renewable energy projects since our launch in May 2023, we're expanding our team and seeking a Director of Finance who will work closely with the CEO on cash flow management, capital formation strategy and will&nbsp;assist in project due diligence.
Our mission is to generate $1 Billion per year of new investments in renewable energy by 2028 while the vision is to build a global network for climate finance.

What you will be doing as the Director of Finance
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Work as the lead of the deal team on project level financings, supporting on all aspects of deal structuring, due diligence and execution, and bringing transactions to a successful closing.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Create debt structures that allow the company to finance individual assets &amp; asset portfolios.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Consistently optimize standard project financing models and build new project financing models from scratch when needed.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Oversee the preparation of internal and external monthly financial statements, manage annual audits, and facilitate company budget preparation.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Ensuring that all communications regarding investments fall within the FINRA guidelines for Funding Portals.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Apply the principles and practices of active project management to review budgets, quarterly reports, technical evaluations, and invoices at a Program, sub-program, and project level.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Work with CEO and senior leaders to establish KPIs and ensure that P&amp;L targets are appropriately set and achieved.</li>

What we&rsquo;re looking for:
This is not a management role, you'll need to be passionate about rolling your sleeves up &amp; doing the work. Ideal candidates must have a strong bias toward action with the ability to problem-solve quickly and make decisions based on Climatize's business and growth goals.
Key qualifications of a successful candidate:

<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Knowledge of solar project financing structures, proforma development, alternative value stack approaches.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Knowledge of solar industry project development needs, particularly for commercial &amp; community solar.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Knowledge of energy efficiency industry project development needs, particularly for LMI communities.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Team player who recognizes learning opportunities and can wear multiple hats in a small organization with a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Manages multiple responsibilities, works independently, takes initiative, sets priorities, and sees projects through to completion.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Works well with others under deadline situations and responds to changes in priorities with flexibility.</li>
