About the role

We’re looking for a Product Manager who can own 0 —> 1 creation of Afresh’s Reporting & Insights product within our Corporate Solutions portal. This is a key opportunity area that will unlock tremendous value for our grocery customers in helping them better understand, analyze, and optimize their fresh grocery business. This role is for someone who has deep curiosity about the business of our grocery customers, ask questions and listens intently to learn, is able to explore with breadth and depth around an opportunity / need, and lives for the process of creating valuable customer insights that influence decision making.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead research and synthesis to develop an understanding of customer metrics and reporting needs, grocery industry best practices and landscape, and current processes and tools being used
  • Partner with the key stakeholders across Product, Customer Success, Analytics, Data, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to ensure that the right reporting opportunities are being prioritized and solved for in the right ways
  • Create and evangelize a multi-year vision, strategy, and roadmap for our Reporting & Insights product
  • Develop and execute on high quality product solutions & specifications that directly contribute to the successful delivery of Reporting & Insights solutions
  • Contribute to broader product initiatives as part of the Corporate Solutions product team

Skills and experience

  • 5+ years experience as a product manager in a fast paced environment
  • Demonstrated success building reporting experiences that have resulted in increased customer engagement and usage
  • Skilled in various reporting and data analysis tools: writing SQL queries, building Mode reports and dashboards, Excel, etc
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to gather data, both qualitative and quantitative, emerge with insights, and make and communicate well-reasoned decisions
  • Experience synthesizing customer needs with strategic goals to drive a product vision and roadmap, define go-to-market strategy, and lead design discussions
  • Flexible communicator who is able to fluidly translate product needs and insights and logical reasoning across technical, operational, design, leadership, and customer audiences
  • Technical fluency that enables you to creatively explore possibilities and challenge constraints with engineering, with demonstrated ability to earn the respect of talented engineers
  • Prefer experience with SaaS / Enterprise SaaS companies.
