We are experiencing rapid growth and seek an experienced Accounting Manager to join our Minneapolis Office. This position will oversee the operations of the accounting department to ensure the timely and accurate reporting of the multiple entities managed by Treehouse Management LLC. This person will work closely with the Audit and Tax Manager to ensure compliance with tax laws and GAAP, as well as the Treasury Manager.

We are looking for a motivated candidate who will:

• Manage the accounting staff who are responsible for financial reporting, budgets, billing, and accounts payable.
• Hire, provide direction to, and develop team members.
• Establish internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation.
• Help to ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close.
• Oversee the preparation and production of business financial activity reports.
• Oversee the annual budgeting process and report on the budgets to the investment staff, Managing Directors.
• Provide financial analysis with an emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements and necessary yearend tax reporting (1099s, etc).
• Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Our desired experience and qualifications are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Eight years or more of related experience required.
• CPA or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent management and supervisory skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management and attention to detail skills.
• Proficient in accounting and tax preparation software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
