What You Will Do

As the Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be responsible for identifying and creating new qualified sales opportunities in Target Accounts or regions for Account Executives. The SDR will become a trusted resource and develop relationships with prospects, acting as the initial point of contact.

Specific Roles and Responsibilities

  • Inbound lead assignment to Sales and Business Development Managers.
  • Build a solid understanding of the industry and sales process to spark meaningful conversations with prospects.
  • Outbound calling and follow up to key prospect targets to engage in the sales cycle with the objective of scheduling appointments with the Sales Managers.
  • Expand AeroBarrier business opportunities by assisting the sales team on campaign coordination and builder outreach by qualifying new prospects and contacting.
  • Utilize SalesForce, cold calling, and email to generate new sales opportunities.
  • Attend company sales and marketing training events.
  • Prepare and submit weekly sales call and activity reports utilizing Salesforce.
  • Perform other sales support tasks or other duties, as may be assigned by management.
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales managers for next steps.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Demonstrated sales success.
  • Proficiency with SalesForce.com or other CRM software
  • Prior experience as a sales development rep with a track record of achieving sales quotes.
  • Construction Industry experience a plus
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative problem solver who thrives when presented with a challenge
  • A desire for continuous learning.
