Architect and build the core of a data ingestion and analysis platform that can scale for global impact.
Engage on business and product strategy decisions, and be able to clearly convey the resulting plans and rationale to internal and external stakeholders.
Shape team design, then attract and lead a stellar team of engineers, data scientists, and energy systems modelers in support of rapid, market-driven growth.
Maintain and convey a clear, concise cross-functional technical roadmap.

12+ years experience with breadth of systems needed to build and own Othersphere's stack, including data ingestion and storage (GCP), energy/industrial system modeling (e.g. Python), large-scale geospatial data analysis frameworks (e.g. Hex Tiles/H3, S2, etc ), data prediction (basic stats through AI methodologies), and front end (e.g. Mapbox products, and similar).
Strong preference for individuals with working experience in energy and industrial sectors.
Experience deploying and managing cloud-based enterprise SaaS products.
Demonstrated ability to support rapid iteration of early products.
A talented team player who has built and led thoughtful, diverse teams.
Advanced degree in related technical discipline(s), or equivalent work experience.
Experience in a startup environment is strongly preferred.
Innovative and creative thinker who is not afraid to try something new and inspire others.
Values integrity and trustworthiness in their professional and personal character.
Strong work ethic with minimal need for direction.
Comfort and willingness to identify and help resolve challenging organizational topics.
Work well independently as well as part of a team.

Othersphere provides competitive compensation and company equity commensurate with experience, and an excellent benefits package. For this role there is a preference for contract-to-hire, to allow for a collaborative approach to ensuring mutual fit.
