unu is an urban mobility brand based in Berlin. Our first product was the unu Scooter Classic, an electric scooter with portable batteries launched in 2014. Our products are sold both directly to consumers and business customers, making them accessible to everyone and resulting in fair prices by eluding dealership costs. In 2020, we launched the second generation of our scooter: The unu Scooter was designed in house and completely re-designed with our partners in Germany. The new scooter offers space for two people, as well as the largest storage space and one of the fastest acceleration values in the electric scooter segment.
After establishing a strong footprint in Germany, Austria and France, we are looking to consolidate our position as one of Europe's leading e-mobility brands. With already more than 50 creative, pragmatic and solution oriented team members, we are now looking for a Business Development Manager - Store Berlin (m/w/d).
The Role
The Store Manager will responsibly represent our brand on-site and develop the store with a lot of energy. Amongst other things, you will independently design campaigns to increase test rides and conversion to sales. 
The Brand Store is the flagship of our brand! The focus of the Store Management is to achieve a perfect customer/ test ride experience for our customers as well as optimal service around the product, the unu scooter. You will work closely with the sales & marketing team to develop concepts to promote test rides throughout Germany and to help develop concepts for our partner stores and our pioneers.

This is where you will make an impact...

• Store management and development: You are responsible for the overall store management and need to ensure the economic success of the store. You will focus on test rides and scooters sold.
• You will manage the stock and procurement of new scooters, as well as the maintenance and repair of the test drive scooters. 
• You will work closely together with the sales & marketing team on strategic decisions, promotional plans, and their implementation. This will include local event planning.
• You are responsible for 2 working students at the location. You plan their hours, plus you train, motivate and coach your team and develop them through transparent, authentic, and team-oriented leadership.
• Create and develop detailed product presentations for the store, answering all possible questions about scooters and accessories, plus individualized advice regarding possible financing options.
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
• Report on sales results, buying trends, customer needs, etc.
• Through in-depth product knowledge and good product presentations, you contribute to business development and maximizing sales targets.
• You cooperate with the Commercial Team to uplift test rides and sales in Germany with our partner stores and pioneers.

You’ll be perfect for this role when...

• You have 2+ years of relevant experience in store management, and offline retail activation 
• Several years of work experience in the field of sales with a proven track record of success
• Fluent in English and German
• Strong customer service mindset
• Strong organizational skills
• An entrepreneurial, self-motivated, diligent, and proactive approach to work.
• You are a team player with good communication skills and have a positive attitude to problem-solving
