Where in the world of OVO will I be working?
Within the Energy function, this role will report into the Operations & Analytics Manager as part of the Portfolio Management team. The Operations & Analytics team is responsible for ensuring Trading, Finance and other business areas have an accurate view of OVO’s wholesale positions and exposures in order to enable effective purchasing, understand performance, drive change and support business decision-making.

This role will suit someone with an analytical mindset who is comfortable manipulating large data sets to produce clear and cogent insights. Market volatility and regulatory change mean there is always something new happening, and you will need to be able to thrive and adapt in the face of changing priorities.
You will be a self-starter, comfortable working both autonomously and with colleagues to deliver value in a small, high-functioning team, and be able to feed into our response to complex challenges.
You will need to develop a detailed understanding of existing models and processes, and demonstrate flexibility in contributing to their development and on a changing range of our team’s priority tasks. Your work will be clearly presented and repeatable in order to maximise the efficiency of the team.
