Operations Manager/Chief of Staff

• Your mission at Climeworks is to be the strategic advisor to our Chief Operating Officer acting as a second set of eyes and ears meeting safety, quality, cost and output targets- a unique role and opportunity!
• You have a technical background and can apply first principles thinking to solve challenging technical and organizational problems that may be outside your formal field of education and experience.
• You organize, prioritize and deliver initiatives that will allow the company to grow and scale to relevant CDR output.
• You lead and manage cross-functional tiger teams to attack and resolve critical company obstacles.
• You ensure seamless cooperation between the various departments in the organization and ensure organized growth and development across all units.
• You will be responsible for taking on special projects to proactively resolve issues and bottlenecks in the organization.
• You proactively contribute to strategy design, ensuring that goals and milestones are achieved in the future.
• You plan, prepare and support COO`s internal and external communication

• You have a Master of Science in Engineering, or Science. On top of this, business acumen or a Masters in Economics or Business Administration is required.
• You bring at least ten years of professional experience in both fast-growing start-ups and a Fortune 500 company.
• You bring an understanding of the principles of engineering and science that can be applied to resolving technical issues.
• You recognize how and what technical influences impact the business and vice versa and you are able to manage and execute multi-million dollar investment projects.
• You are exceptionally structured and have very good analytical skills. With your demeanor you have the capability to convince your stakeholders of your ideas.
• In addition to your strong communication skills, you also bring organizational and political intelligence to the table.
• You are fluent in English and willing to travel 20-30% of your workload. German skills are a plus.
