This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing B corp with a mission to transform the U.S. electricity market by switching homes and businesses to 100% clean, pollution-free energy.

 

Job Description

This role will be focused on multiple projects to implement and oversee marketing and communication strategies. We are seeking someone who is to help build a different kind of energy company — one that believes in renewable energy and shares the values of our customers. The right candidate will be a hands-on, data-driven team member who can jump in and support the marketing and public relations side of our community solar, residential, and small commercial retail businesses. In this role, you will be responsible for communication and writing skills as well as the ability to work well under pressure, multitask, and adhere to tight deadlines. This person will report to the Director of Retention Marketing.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Achieving marketing goals through the development and implementation of retention digital marketing programs.
  • Delivering quality programs on time and within budget by managing vendor and inter-organizational relationships and issues.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end production of email marketing campaigns—build emails using HTML/CSS & A/B tests, QA, and send through Braze.
  • Lead dynamic content and personalization development process using liquid, ensuring messaging and data are QA’ed and successfully executed.
  • Track metrics, interpret results to increase retention and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop strong, productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understand the energy market, conduct competitive analysis, anticipate customer needs and advocate for programs to meet those needs and improve key performance metrics.
  • Stay current on and experiment with new email and digital marketing tactics to increase conversions and to tell the story of our brand.
  • Ensure marketing materials are proofed, approved, and meet all organizational standards.
  • Managing and implementing marketing programs as assigned across multiple channels including email, text, web, and phones.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • 2 years of relevant experience 
  • Braze
  • Salesforce
  • Adobe Suite
  • Bachelor’s degree

 

Preferred Skills 

  • Experience working in renewable energy
  • Experience with Domo

 

Travel

  • 100% Remote

This position offers compensation commensurate with experience and skills, an incentive plan, and a robust benefits package.
