Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help us find and screen potential customers who can benefit from Sustain.Life’s unique SaaS (Software as a Service) platform.  

As the first line of communication with prospects, ideal SDRs have a strong understanding of the sales process, excel at researching leads, starting new relationships, uncovering challenges, and effectively working with our team of Account Executives to foster new revenue opportunities. You should be an energetic and quick learner with excellent written and spoken communication skills. Sustainability is an emerging area for many of our clients and you will be expected to be able to discuss business goals and values related to Sustainability & ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance).  

The ideal candidate will be self-driven, naturally curious, with excellent organization and task management skills. 

As an SDR, your core responsibilities will be to: 

  • Generating new business leads to create opportunities for our established team of salespeople 
  • Identify prospect's needs and challenges through effective “Discovery” & qualify their interests and viability to drive sales 
  • Respond & engage to inbound leads in a timely fashion 
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives for next steps
  • Utilize HubSpot, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, as well as cold calling, and email to generate new sales opportunities
  • Build trusting relationships with key stakeholders
  • Generate and manage your own sales pipeline by updating all activity in HubSpot
  • Collaborate with sales executives to meet the company’s targets
  • Own and achieve your individual sales goals 

Who you are 

  • You have a bachelor's degree or at least 4 years of relevant work experience 
  • 1-2 years of sales experience, with a track record of exceeding targets 
  • Outstanding communication skills via phone, email, and social media 
  • Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization
  • You have previously worked with HubSpot
  • Ability to effectively prioritize & manage multiple tasks
  • You are excited to work in a fast-paced environment & collaborate with your sales colleagues 
  • You are based in the Pacific time zone
