For our Finance team, we are looking for an Assistant Accountant with experience executing financial controls in high-growth environments. 


  • Create and update spreadsheets of daily transactions and reconcile invoices against POs
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable
  • Monthly bank reconciliations
  • Review and processing of employee expense claims
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets
  • Keep records of invoices and tax payments
  • Identify and address account discrepancies
  • Participate in payroll processes
  • Participate in annual audit
  • Quarterly balance sheet reconciliations including maintaining fixed asset register, accruals and prepayments schedules
  • Report on financial projections (e.g. liquidity and cash flow)
  • Assist the CFO and other senior team members in presenting reports to senior executives, stakeholders, and board members.

Essential Requirements:

  • BSc degree in Finance, Economics or relevant Accounting Qualification (including part qualified)
  • Proven work experience as a Assistant Accountant, Finance Administrator or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and charts and using financial Excel functions)
  • Good understanding of bookkeeping procedures
  • Time-management and organisation skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving
  • Highly motivated with intellectual curiosity and rigour
  • Ability to plan own work, manage multiple tasks and projects and deliver against deadlines.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience working with high growth organisations and/or start-ups
  • Experience of project management methods and tools
  • Competence in other languages.
