The Acquisition Marketing Specialist will be responsible for delivering digital and traditional marketing campaigns to drive end-user enrollment in our utilities’ thermostat, electric vehicle and battery-focused residential demand response programs. This is an outstanding opportunity to apply acquisition marketing skills while contributing to an energy-focused enterprise software company.


  • Collaborate with clients, marketing vendors, partners and internal teams to launch and run B2C marketing campaigns in both digital and traditional channels
  • Conceptualize campaign messaging and user experience flows, while collaborating with creative stakeholders to develop effective marketing collateral
  • Identify and test new marketing channels with an eye towards maximizing ROI
  • Present program marketing plans to utility clients and provide updates on campaign performance
  • Use data and analytics tools to define target audiences, optimize campaign performance and provide actionable insights
  • Build the acquisition marketing playbook to scale EnergyHub’s growing set of BYOT and EVSE programs


  • 2-3 years of B2C acquisition marketing experience and a BA/BS
  • Hands-on experience with digital marketing platforms, like Google AdWords and Facebook Business Manager
  • Understanding of the marketing funnel and experience executing multi-channel campaigns
  • Data-driven mindset with an affinity for Excel and Google Analytics
  • Strong communication skills, storytelling skills and ability to distill complex concepts into key takeaways for clients and senior leadership.
  • Informed opinions on marketing copy, design and UX best practices
  • Highly organized, with an ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and budgets

Nice to haves

  • E-commerce and/or energy industry experience 
  • Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools 

The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
