Essential Duties:

· Educate architects and engineers on the importance of embodied carbon, performance simulations, and data driven design.

· Show teams how cove.tool is a partner through webinars, online demos and more.

· Research how to simulate materials and technologies and develop ways to integrate with building product manufacturers.

· Work on and lead new feature development within cove.tool within an AGILE software environment.

· Do cutting-edge research and implement data driven workflows across the industry.

· Respond to questions from architects and engineers and communicate the vision.

· Publish and curate articles, posts, and media for architects and engineers.

Required Skills - Apply if you meet 7 out of 10 of the items on the list.

· 5+ years of experience in building sustainability or architecture required. Case studies where you applied sustainable thinking to an architecture problem are highly desirable especially in a professional setting. Show us what you got!

· Master’s degree in architecture, sustainability, environmental science, or an equivalent combination of other studies required.

· Be a nice friendly person who cares about doing good for the world.

· Graphic skills are highly important (you will be working with architects)

· Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well. Writing is a part of changing someone’s mind.

· Ability to multi-task, we are doing lots of cool things and you need to be flexible!

· Curious, insightful, engaged, determined to make a difference.

· Sustainability professional certifications (such as LEED, WELL), preferred but not required.

· Proficient in use of design software, such as Revit, Sketchup, Rhino, Grasshopper, Adobe Creative Suite, etc. Basically, be tech savvy.

· Coding experience desired but not required (the research team works closely with our software team so it helps to understand what they are doing).
