Job Description

The Nextera Mobility team was formed in 2021 following the acquisition of eIQ Mobility.  The Mobility team is rapidly expanding to keep pace with the transition to Zero Emission Vehicles (ZEV).  We are combining the best-in-class fleet assessment services of eIQ Mobility with the energy expertise of the world’s largest renewable energy developer to create infrastructure-as-a-service offerings for commercial fleets looking to decarbonize their fleets. 

As we expand our offerings, we are looking for a talented Product Manager to join our team.   

Position Specific Description 

NEER Mobility is seeking a well-qualified candidate who is passionate about driving the clean energy revolution by accelerating the electrification of commercial and public fleets.  This position is an excellent fit for a technical product manager that is early in their career. The role can be an Associate Product Manager or Product Manager based on the level of experience. This role is technical in its nature and you will be working closely (daily) with our engineering team.   

As a Product Manager at NEER’s Mobility business, you will be asked to: 

  • Collaborate with other product managers in establishing best practices for benchmarking, collecting voice of the customer, interfacing with engineering, business development and other product teams across the organization, 

  • Use analytical abilities and rigorous thinking to work cross-functionally, determine highest priority new features and tenaciously drive those projects forward 

  • Work closely with customers and other NextEra and external partner teams to develop smart and creative solutions to the problems our customers face and ensure NextEra is delivering the best software possible 

  • Project manage all aspects of product development, including customer research, feature design, mock-up and user story creation, engineering development, launch and growth, and key metrics development and reporting 

  • Work closely with our engineering team through the development process: develop product requirements documents, create user stories, manage and groom the backlog, prioritize the tickets, facilitate stand-ups and ensure the engineering team is unblocked, productive and continues shipping!    

Required Qualifications

  • High School Grad / GED
  • Experience: 2+ years

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
