Opportunity:

EV Life is on a mission to make clean energy more affordable for everyone, starting with electric vehicles.

The #1 barrier to consumer EV adoption is price, with 51% of car buyers saying EVs are too expensive to consider.

EV Life’s Climate Loan Fintech Platform empowers consumers to make financing EVs competitive with gas vehicles by qualifying and deferring payment on their post-purchase tax credits and rebates – lowering monthly auto payments by up to $200/month. By eliminating the “green premium” for EVs, our goal is to unlock affordability for millions of Americans who find EVs inaccessible and would otherwise purchase gas vehicles.

Role:

We are seeking an innovative and independent Business Development & Partnerships Lead who can spearhead the development of lending partnerships to scale EV affordability through our Climate Loans for EVs and consumer electrification.

This role is part time (10-20 hours/week) with a goal of growing into a full time role. This position is remote, with a preference for US-based candidates.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with EV Life’s Founders and Head of Finance to build first-of-their-kind lending partnerships that connect the dots and create mutually beneficial partnerships with lending partners, automakers, dealers, and other partners to grow consumer EV adoption and electrification.
  • Lead development of these lending and origination partnerships from prospect to close.
  • Identify and secure B2B2C channel and affiliate partnerships to drive EV borrower growth to massive scale.
  • Imagine and co-create mutually beneficial partnerships to continuously increase the “bundle of value” that EV Life delivers to delight our customers and electrify their lives (insurance, charging solutions, home electrification, etc).

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Business Development, Partnerships, or Sales (strong experience and network in the financial sector (banks, credit unions, family offices), clean energy, or related field strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience running a sales process on a CRM (Hubspot Sales, Salesforce).
  • A founder’s mindset: the persistence to hit roadblocks, think outside the box, and create new solutions to problems.
