Job Overview

The Program Manager – LCA is responsible for ensuring the successful operation of the EPD and life cycle programs. Areas of responsibility include program operations, program quality, and business development.

Roles and Responsibilities

Financial Management

  • Oversight of program P&L statement
  • Support program through the preparation of work orders and invoices

Business Development

  • Scope and prepare proposals for new projects
  • Represent program and promote services at trade shows, conferences, and industry events
  • Identify and develop opportunities to expand services into new markets

Operations Management

  • Project management, including customer relations and client meetings
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients
  • Implement and enforce workflow processes to streamline operations
  • Develop and document procedures to ensure efficient program operations
  • Develop work instructions, internal guidance, and staff training material

Program Quality

  • Ensure program compliance with corporate quality system and accreditation through external organizations
  • Ensure consistent interpretation and application of standards
  • Manage the internal audit process
  • Adhere to and enforce all quality and code of conduct standards

Conduct Technical Services

  • Conduct data analysis and modeling
  • Interpret results of analysis and make recommendations
  • Prepare written reports based on results
  • Perform critical reviews and verification of Environmental Product Declarations

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 4+ years of professional experience in environmental consulting, certification, or life cycle assessment; this may also be satisfied with a Master's degree and two years of professional experience
  • Proven ability to write articles and give public presentations on technical subjects
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong initiative and ability to work independently
  • Proficient with business software including Outlook, Word, Excel, and database management
  • Strong customer service and teamwork mindset
  • Initiative, good judgment, and ability to work independently under pressure in a changing environment

Physical Requirements

This is an office-based job. Sit 6+ hours per day. Keyboarding 6+ hours per day. Must be able to speak and listen in person and via phone or online video conference call applications.

Pay Range:

$76k to $103k Annually
